- August 24 - Primary Election, where 80% of Arizona's legislative races will be decided
- October 4 - Registration deadline for General Election
- October 7 - Early voting (vote by mail) for General Election begins
- November 2 - General Election
Register to Vote Online
Registering to vote online is easy. Visit www.servicearizona.com where you can register to vote or make changes to your name, address, or party affiliation.

- Choose English or Spanish
- Click on Begin Voter Registration
- Enter information requested for Verify Voter Registration Eligibility
- Enter Personal Information
- Enter Change Address Information (if applicable)
- Enter Voter Registration Information
- Click on Register to Vote
Request an Early Ballot
Check out the list of the County Recorder and Election offices where you may request an early ballot either online or by phone. These requests must be received by August 13. Download this postcard to request an early ballot through the AEA.
Independents: Vote in Primary Election
Voters who have registered as Independents or with No Party Preference are eligible to vote in either the Republican or Democratic Primary Election on August 24. Such voters can choose a Republican or Democratic ballot when the go to the polls and vote. These voters can choose a Democratic or Republican early ballot by calling the County Recorder and Election offices. Some counties allow this choice to be made on-line.
